Dr Chris Murray is a Prosthodontist who has practised in Collins St Melbourne for 35 years. He specialises in fixed and removable prosthodontics, implants, maxillofacial prosthodontics, the management of people with special needs, the treatment of TMJ disorders and the provision of dental appliances for sleep disorders. In the course of his specialist dental career Chris has published 35 papers in refereed journals while working at The University of Melbourne, the Austin Hospital, MD Anderson Hospital and Tumour Institute, in Houston, Monash University, The University of Queensland, where he was a full time academic, and at the Eastman Dental Institute, London. Prior to that he worked as a general dentist in Melbourne, the Northern Territory and the UK. He has also volunteered, providing dentistry for indigenous communities in far north Queensland, in a Maasai village in Tanzania and has taught at the International University in Cambodia. Chris completed a PhD from The University of Melbourne last year on the topic of “Waterbirds and Artificial Wetlands in Victoria, Australia” and is currently a Senior Fellow at The University, involved in environmental research.
