The Institute of Digital Dentistry presents a 2-day course introducing CADCAM dentistry concepts through lectures and hands-on application. Participants will be taught how to use 3 different CADCAM systems including CEREC, 3shape Trios and Planmeca. Using these systems participants will be given the opportunity to scan, design and mill crowns with guidance and also carry out intra-oral scanning. All aspects of CADCAM Crowns is covered in this course, from scanning, designing, milling, glazing and CADCAM machine maintenance. This is the perfect course for those wanting to step into the world of digital dentistry
CADCAM scanning and milling allows for more natural looking restorations than ever before, with tighter contact points and a consistently accurate fit. Learn CAD/CAM scanning and designing techniques while trialling and comparing CEREC, Trios, and Planmeca scanners and mills.
Upon completing this comprehensive course, you will understand the nuances of each system and have hands-on experience in the practical application of CAD/CAM technology. You will scan, design, mill and glaze multiple posterior single-unit crown from start to finish with all materials provided.

• Trial and compare not one but three different CAD/CAM systems, this course is the only one of its kind in NZ
