Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
About Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
Right in the centre of the city, conveniently close to hotels, restaurants, bars and transport, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) combines stunning architecture with incredible versatility.
The convention centre features a state-of-the-art plenary that divides into three self-contained, acoustically separate theatres for any sized conference. It can seat as many as 5,541 or, just as easily, reconfigure to accommodate smaller concurrent meetings of 550 delegates, a flat floor banquet or even a cabaret.
Then there are 32 meeting rooms of various sizes, a grand banquet room and pre-function area with exceptional views of the city, and an entry-level foyer that offers stunning Yarra River and city vistas through an 18-metre high glass façade.
The Melbourne Exhibition Centre is fully integrated with the convention centre, providing 30,000sqm of pillarless exhibition space and over 20 additional meeting rooms.
And all this in the world's first 6 Star Green Star rated convention centre, where the innovative use of fresh air, natural light and solar power doesn't just conserve resources, it also makes your experience more comfortable.
