Designing dentures with CAD has actually been around for over 10 years and has evolved now to a mature technology. The two main softwares of choice are 3Shape and exocad but where do you start?

This talk will start at the beginning and demonstrate the concepts needed to be able to start designing digital dentures to a professional level. Practical demonstrations will be given of both softwares and the pros and cons of each will be discussed. Capturing the exact position of multiple implants exactly has either been a headache or if done digitally been very expensive. Regardless, it's one of the most important aspects of the design and manufacture of provisional and final prosthesis in the All on X workflow. In this lecture Photogrammetry will be demystified and explained and new affordable technologies will be discussed and demonstrated using this technology that takes the headache and " guesswork " out of clinical and laboratory techniques . If you are placing implants, restoring implants or doing the technical work for implants you need too know about these technologies as they will strip hours from your conventional workflows, do not miss this.

Facial scanning, Intra Oral Scanning, Smile Design and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has revolutionised the way we work. This lecture will strip back all the fiction and really get down to the facts about digital denture manufacture. What are the new 3D printing technologies and materials for digital dentures? Evolutions in implant dentistry design and technology are calling into question the need for abutments altogether. This lecture will address the pros and cons of eliminating the abutment in full arch dentistry, including covering the use of the Powerball and Vortex screws for direct to fixture attachment as well as the novel TRI Matrix Implant that eliminates abutments entirely.

Among these, biological complications—characterised by peri-implant bone and soft tissue loss, chronic inflammation and aesthetic concerns—are particularly critical due to their often irreversible nature.
