Elevate your practice with Ivoclar’s hands-on workshop, The 90-Minute Crown Appointment with Chairside CAD/CAM
This intensive course is designed for both dentists and dental assistants to master the CEREC® system and 5.2 software, enabling efficient, predictable, and stress-free single-visit restorations. Whether you’re new to chairside CAD/CAM or a seasoned CEREC® user, this workshop equips your team with the skills to optimise workflows, enhance collaboration, and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
This hands-on program provides dedicated workstations for participants to practice fabricating e.max and Zirconia crowns, inlays and onlays with ideal occlusion. Dentists will gain a comprehensive understanding of CEREC’s advanced tools, while assistants will learn to take ownership of the restoration fabrication process, fostering a seamless team approach. With limited seating on a first-come, first-serve basis, we recommend no more than one assistant per practice due to space constraints.
Participants Will Learn:
- Preparation and Imaging: Master the "CADCAM Prep and image" process for consistent CEREC® success.
- Design Techniques: Understand and apply Biogeneric Individual, Biogeneric Copy, and Copy and Mirror techniques for various clinical scenarios.
- Material Selection: Explore the range of CEREC® materials, their indications, and how to manage inventory efficiently.
- Efficient Workflows: Learn to design and mill multiple adjacent and opposing restorations in a single visit.
- Advanced Tools: Utilise the Model Axis, positioning tool and other software features to enhance precision.
- Restoration Fabrication: Gain hands-on experience with inlays, onlays and crowns including contouring and crystallization.
- Stain and Glaze Techniques: Practice advanced polishing and esthetic finishing for superior results.
- Cementation Protocols: Review bonding techniques, self-etching vs. total-etch cements, and best practices for durable restorations.
- Zirconia Restorations: Follow a step-by-step process for fabricating zirconia restorations.
- Lab Connectivity: Learn to send cases to laboratories using DS Core®
- Team Collaboration: Empower assistants to handle design, milling, and finishing, ensuring a harmonious and efficient practice workflow.
- Software Mastery: Conduct a thorough review of CEREC® 5.2 software parameters and clinical applications.
Course Details:
- Duration: Two-day intensive workshop with hands-on training.
- Target Audience: Dentists and dental assistants (limited to one assistant per practice).
