Ivoclar Pacific is pleased to invite you to join us for an upcoming webinar. During this session, David will provide an overview of his upcoming two-day hands-on courses in 2026.
Webinar Link: will be supplied 1 week before the webinar
Successful complete denture therapy begins with precise diagnosis and sound occlusal principles. Regardless of the technique or system employed, accurate determination of Vertical Dimension (VD) and Centric Relation between the maxilla and mandible remains fundamental to predictable edentulous restorations.
This webinar will explore the principles of occlusion as the controlled distribution of masticatory forces—from the engineered surfaces of artificial teeth, through the denture base, and onto the supporting oral tissues. When these elements are harmonized, the result is improved prosthetic stability, enhanced patient comfort, and long-term clinical success.
Participants will be introduced to the core concepts of BPS (Biofunctional Prosthetic System) occlusion, with a focus on:
- Occlusal philosophy and biomechanics
- Tooth selection criteria
- Model analysis and its role in treatment planning
By strengthening understanding of these fundamentals, clinicians will be better equipped to make informed clinical decisions and achieve more predictable outcomes in complete denture therapy.
