The aim of this conference is to present current evidence about a very “hot” topic in dentistry: PERI-IMPLANT DISEASES.

This inaugural conference will feature presentation of research and the clinical management of this difficult challenge. The conference is organised by its Scientific Chairman and Conference Moderator, A/Prof. Axel Spahr and presented by 3 world-renowned international speakers with extensive scientific and clinical experience and will be followed by a hands-on workshop.

  • Prof. Dr Stefan Renvert (Sweden)
  • Prof. Dr Jean Louis Giovannoli (France)
  • Prof. Dr Joerg Meyle (Germany)

Dentists, Dental Specialists, Oral Health Therapists, Dental Hygienists as well as Dental Students, interested in prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases are all welcome.

The conference will be held across two days

Day 1: Lectures focused on the prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases

Day 2: Special Hands-on Masterclass in the Simulation Clinic of the University of Sydney/Sydney Dental Hospital on newly designed peri-implantitis models. This Masterclass is specifically designed for dentists and dental specialists who have attended day 1 and comprises detailed hands-on exercises of non-surgical and surgical techniques.
