This course provides comprehensive knowledge on surgical implant placement, enabling dentists to initiate surgical procedures in their practice. It offers easy-to-use flowcharts for case selection, surgical site assessment, implant selection, biomaterial options, and patient management.

The course is divided into two modules:

  1. Module 1: Lays the foundation of implant placement and positioning, including suturing techniques and model-based workshops.
  2. Module 2: Builds on the fundamentals from Module 1 with a pig jaw workshop and the opportunity to treat a live patient by placing an implant.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own patients for follow-up and restoration. If an attendee cannot bring a patient, one will be provided. Attendees must submit x-rays and documentation to the mentor two weeks prior to the course. If applicable, attendees are responsible for their patients’ transportation and lodging.

Upon completion, dentists should feel confident and prepared to begin and expand the implant portion of their practice.
