Gain the basic knowledge and skills required to be a productive dental assistant.

This specifically designed course provides the basic knowledge and skills required to help new dental assistants in their role. Review and practice multiple common dental assisting duties and learn strategies to stay organised and improve you dental assisting skills.

Use chairside manikins and practice hands-on activities including: surgery preparation, greeting a patient, assisting a dentist, suction techniques, moisture control, surgery changeover, positioning and ergonomics.

In addition, this course outlines the importance for infection control, hand hygiene, contamination zones and reviews the basics for processing reusable instruments and equipment.

Very limited seats are available for optimal personal attention and training.
