In line with new technology and innovative materials, conventional glass ionomer and composite resins are a reliable, conservative, multifunctional, aesthetics direct restorative material options. This hands-on course is designed to relate to clinicians’ daily practice and enhance your role in providing exceptional patient care with simplified and diversity layering approach upon clinical scenario.

Participants will have the opportunity to complete Class II posterior restoration utilising a combination of fast setting glass ionomer material, the next generation resin adhesive and composite resin. The conservative approach of using bulk placed material with higher acid resistance and composite resin as part of the direct restorative techniques allow protecting surrounding tooth surfaces from acid challenges and creating superior aesthetics and long-lasting restorations.

 

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn some clinical tips and tricks on how to restore a bulk placed restorative material;
  • Understand the importance of the use of an efficient and clinically proven adhesive
  • Learn simple occlusal build-up using aesthetic composite resin with minimal finishing
  • Learn simple finishing and polishing
