Course Description
CAD/CAM is one of the fastest growing sectors within the dental profession. The potential and versatility of the entire Ivoclar Vivadent CAD/CAM block solutions will be explored including IPS e.max® CAD and the IPS e.max ZirCAD and New Prime Block. Never before have there been so many options available to successfully enhance the chair side aesthetics of CAD/CAM dentistry.
This workshop aims to provide the participants with a systematic and coordinated approach to successfully provide high aesthetic solutions chair side.
Learning Objectives
- Understand correct applications and use of various CAD/CAM materials
- Provide an overview of IPS e.max CAD using a formula which can be adapted to suit the aesthetics required for each case
- Understand the difference between low strength and high strength all-ceramic chair side options
- Selecting the appropriate cementation method
- Surface texture and polishing techniques
- Staining techniques
- Implant solution with IPS e.max CAD
- IPS e.max CAD 13 min stain glaze crystallise technique

Jim Ruddy has over 25 years’ experience in the field of dental ceramics; both lecturing and teaching across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
