Inventing dental practice management
Speaker: Dr Michael B Sernik
Many dental practices run like world class businesses in 2022 thanks to management systems that are so common their wisdom is unquestionable. But the reality is that everything taken for granted today was created by someone... who taught it to someone else... and so on. In this regard, few dentists have shaped the landscape of contemporary dental practice the way Dr Michael Sernik has. Michael distills his knowledge and experience as a dentist and dental practice management guru into systems that any dentist can adopt and see immediate results. Over decades, Michael's wisdom has influenced generations of dental leaders and their practices. In this moderated discussion, Dr Sernik will answer all of your questions and candidly discuss the evolution of practice management systems that saw the creation of Prime Speak over 20 years ago, his latest project, the aptly named Sernik Speak and beyond.

The MISSING LINK that allows dental practice owners to control their own destiny
Speaker: Dr David R Moffet
Few dentists understand the amazing power of creating World Class Customer Service Systems inside their dental practice that allow dentists to truly control their own destiny… owning a dental practice need not be a burden… in fact when managed correctly it is truly a gift that allows dentists to determine:
- Where they live
- Where their children go to school
- When they retire
- Where they retire to
- What they do in their retirement
Don’t become a slave to your own practice.
Dr David Moffet turned a suburban dental practice doing $400K in 1996 to a practice doing $3.4M in 2011 and was able to sell that practice for what ended up being a tick over $4M dollars.
In this presentation, David will expand your thinking with several simple-to-implement processes that you can put into place immediately in your dental practice to create instant results. Results that you’d wished you’d achieved sooner…

In this interactive presentation from multi-award winning Practice Growth Specialist, Angus Pryor, you’ll discover:
- The 4 environmental factors that are working against you … unless you know what they are and how to combat them
- Why there are only 3 ways to grow your practice, and how to stop wasting time on what doesn’t work
- The two most effective and reliable business-building tactics that are surprisingly affordable
- The one statistic that is negatively impacting every single dentist in Australia, whether they know about it or not
- The overlooked source of growth that is as simple to harvest as picking an apple from a tree

Google vs Facebook
Speaker: Dr Lani N Guy
- Lecture
This seminar is a must for those who invest in, or are considering plunging into, the world of digital platform advertising. Digital advertising uses paid targeted advertising to reach customers in the hope they may become your customers. Typically assessed on cost-per-click, their fundamental underlying strategy and therefore success, differ markedly with the platform itself. In this lecture, we take a look at the two main players - Facebook and Google - and explain how they work, how they differ and how to measure their effectiveness in your business in a no-nonsense, easy to understand manner.

The Three Best Ways of Dealing With No Shows and Cancellations
Speaker: Ms Jayne Bandy
Why is it so important to know how to handle these types of phone calls, and how to stop them from happening in the first place.
Every Dental Office needs to have and be able to use clear and specific cancellation strategies that allow their team members to easily and seamlessly be able to handle any cancellation call if and when it comes in.
Over the years of running the front office of a very successful Dental Practice Jayne Bandy made and recorded a complete list of all of the reasons that patients offered up as to why they were unable to attend their appointments for their necessary dental treatment.
Jayne discovered that there are really only TWO types of cancellations, and in this interactive presentation Jayne will reveal the best proven methods for helping patients to keep those appointments…
Because it really comes down to just one thing. Can the person answering the cancellation phone call change the caller’s mind?
In this presentation, Jayne will equip your team members with all the skills they need to know what to say and how to say it to every caller who tries to cancel their appointment?
Jayne will reveal her secret methodology that immediately stops your team members from saying “That’s OK”, even before they ask the caller why there is a need to cancel that appointment.
In this presentation, Jayne will show you the exact same four step methodology that she used to use, and now teaches others, to help the patient who is cancelling to actually change their mind, and keep their appointment.
Lastly, Jayne will reveal the two important things that every patient who rings to cancel needs to hear, so that they absolutely change their minds about rescheduling their necessary treatment.
