A complete workflow from scanning to milling

In this course, targeted at novices of intra oral scanning for partially and completely edentulous patients, a clinical and technical approach will be presented. Participants will undertake clinical training on a few live patients and simulated cases. How to use the hardware and software of the scanner will be covered as well as a variety of clinical techniques aimed at delivering optimal clinical outcomes. Participants will scan patients under the close supervision of the demonstrator with feedback being provided. After the clinical activities participants will be trained in utilising these scans to design a variety of devices and prosthesis in order to facilitate various clinical situations. Participants will each have their own computer. The scanners used for this course will be Trios 3 and 4 and design applications will utilise the 3Shapes Dental System.

✓ Participants will learn how to scan and manage in the dental laboratory the revolutionary impression technique for digitizing the altered cast technique
