ANZAP Pre Conference Workshop
Sydney, AUSTRALIA
From: 1:00 PM Thursday, 13 March, 2025
Registration opens at 12:00 PM
To: 4:30 PM Thursday, 13 March, 2025
The role and clinical applications of xenogeneic collagen matrices and biologics at teeth and implant sites
Several soft tissue deformities affect natural teeth and dental implants. These conditions often result in patients' aesthetic concerns but can also negatively affect periodontal and peri-implant tissue stability and health. Recent evidence highlights the importance of soft tissue phenotype augmentation for improving aesthetics, health and patient comfort when treating gingival recessions and implant aesthetic complications.
While several techniques have been shown to be successful in soft tissue augmentation at teeth and implant sites, minimally invasive approaches with xenogeneic collagen matrices and biologic agents have been more and more advocated by clinicians and patients. The workshop will focus on the contemporary soft tissue grafting for addressing - in a minimally invasive manner – patient concerns around teeth and dental implants.
At this pre conference interactive workshop you will:
• Work with collagen matrices and novel dental growth factor GEM 21S®
• Further develop your skills in soft tissue regeneration
• Small group, maximum time with Associate Professor Tavelli
See Assoc. Prof. Lorenzo Tavelli at 21st ANZAP Conference, 13-15 March,
- Latest advances in minimally invasive soft tissue grafting for treatment of mucogingival deformities
- Implant aesthetic complications: Prevention and treatment
