Have you ever wondered what happens once a practice has received a request from the Police Service for dental records in connection with a forensic matter – quite often via an ADAQ email?
Forensic Odontologist Alex Forrest will take attendees through every step of the identification process from finding of and the very first request for identification of human remains - to the eventual outcome of identification in an important step towards closure for grieving families.
The role of the dentition in identification will be highlighted as will the importance of comprehensive and accurate dental records.
