Welcome to the SUMMER DENTAL CONFERENCE – SYDNEY
The aim of this conference is to present current evidence about a very “hot” topic in dentistry: PERI-IMPLANT DISEASES.
This inaugural conference will feature presentation of research and the clinical management of this difficult challenge. The conference is organised by its Scientific Chairman and Conference Moderator, A/Prof. Axel Spahr and presented by 3 world-renowned international speakers with extensive scientific and clinical experience and will be followed by a hands-on workshop.

Dentists, Dental Specialists, Oral Health Therapists, Dental Hygienists as well as Dental Students, interested in prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases are all welcome.
The conference will be held across two days
Day 1: Lectures focused on the prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases
Day 2: Special Hands-on Masterclass in the Simulation Clinic of the University of Sydney/Sydney Dental Hospital on newly designed peri-implantitis models. This Masterclass is specifically designed for dentists and dental specialists who have attended day 1 and comprises detailed hands-on exercises of non-surgical and surgical techniques.
The hands-on workshop is limited to the first 40 participants due to the number of workplaces available in the simulation clinic.

Sydney Dental Hospital is situated between Chalmers Street and Elizabeth Street opposite the entrance to Central Station. Trains and buses run regularly between Central and all main Sydney Stations.
