Providing patients with ever increasing predictability, while decreasing costs, time and morbidity, are important considerations in dental implantology. Understanding how to atraumatically remove teeth, preserve hard and soft tissue contours and thereby increase the possibility of immediate implant placement is a key skill. Southern Implants have created site specific implants that fit into this treatment concept.
This course will cover the utilisation of MAX implants (posterior sites) and Inverta implants (anterior sites) for immediate tooth replacements protocols.
Learning Objectives:
• Diagnosis and Treatment Planning for Immediacy
• Patient Selection Parameters
• Planning Implant Positions
• Immediate Implant Surgical Protocols
• Grafting Procedures Associated with Immediate Implants
• Temporisation (Temporary Crown and Customised Caps)
• Postoperative Protocols to Decrease Complications
• Complication Management
This course will have numerous hands-on practical components that will be performed on life-like models by all participants.
