This session will focus on evidence-based concepts for maximizing the clinical outcomes with CEREC restorations.   Long-term clinical research provides aspects of the geometry of tooth preparation, nuances of design, restoration fabrication, and adhesive delivery that can significantly influence clinical outcomes with current CEREC materials.

Dental implant placement is rarely a straightforward procedure. This lecture will provide an overview of the treatment planning for the surgical phase of dental implant placement, with the focus on the use and interpretation of cone-beam computed tomography data. This lecture will be followed by a masterclass on the use of Simplant software for implant planning.

The workshop will focus on the principles that must guide the design of access in modern endo and correct use of tools in order to accomplish ideal design to ensure safety and efficiency. There will be clear description on the use of rotating and reciprocating files of the last generation as well as the gliders lately introduced in the market.

Participants will be able to use the new X-Smart IQ digital system in order to understand behaviour of the endodontic files used.  Participants will use ProTaper Next and WaveOne Gold systems in association of ProGlider and WaveOne Gold Glider.  

This workshop is specifically geared towards the Dentsply Sirona CBCT and CEREC systems helping you achieve efficient, predictable and profitable implant results without clinical compromise. Dr Tarun Agarwal will go through a step by step systematic approach helping you create the most efficient patient experience.

Once the implant has been placed and integrated the CEREC system offers multiple materials and techniques for restoration of a wide variety of implants. This presentation will review the clinical workflow and instruments, materials, and fabrication process for both screw-retained and cemented implant restorations.  Imaging strategies for successful outcomes and handling of the ScanPost, TiBase, and milled restorations will be reviewed.

Simplant dental planning software provides the clinician with accurate and predictable surgery options. It enables the clinician to assess the patient’s anatomy and see exactly how it relates to the proposed restoration. This Masterclass will provide you with all the tips and tricks necessary to get the most out of the program while unlocking some of the mystery around some of Simplant's core features. Participants should expect to leave knowing how to segment anatomy, extract teeth, simulate grafts and much more.

The workshop will focus on the principles that must guide 3-D obturation after complete shaping and cleaning of the root canal system. There will be clear description on the use of gutta-percha cones as well as the new carrier based system lately introduced including the endodontic sealer of choice.

Participants will be able to use Calamus and Guttacore and understand decision making in choosing each system in accordance to the treatment plan. 

In this program Dr Tarun Agarwal will discuss the hottest topic in dentistry today – sleep aponea. He will lay out a simple, proven workflow to partially implement obstructive sleep aponea therapy in your practice and the impact it can have on your patients and practice.

A collaborative insight into the world of digital dentistry, covering surgical aspects including 3D treatment planning and guided surgery with Simplant to restorative treatment utilising the latest in CAD/CAM technologies from Atlantis with patient specific custom abutments. The lecture aims to join the dots between the digital technologies on offer today and demystify  the treatment potential in a clinical setting.

Stephen has been using the AstraTech implant system since their Australian release in 2006. He has a Cerec machine and in-house laboratory to get the best of both worlds. He is committed to clinical excellence in implants from planning to placement.

Praveen was amongst the first in Australia to research CAD/CAM dentistry in the early 90s and maintains his interest in digital dentistry till today. He is a surgical prosthodontist with extensive experience in numerous systems but has used Astra and Astra EV since their Australian introduction.

The workshop will focus on the principles that must guide post-endodontic restoration in the different situations.  There will be clear description on the use of fiber posts as well as the correct protocol for post selection and cementation systems. Bulk fill use will be analysed including all uses and perspectives for future applications.  

Participants will be able to use the Fluorocore 2+ build up composite, fiber posts and SDR and understand decision making in choosing each material in accordance to the final restoration treatment plan.

There will be clear description on the use of modern composites based on newly introduced fillers for better handling as well as the correct protocol for universal adhesive systems. Color taking and understanding in order to simplify shade decision in accordance to the different type of composite will also be described.

Bulk fill use will be analysed in its combination with composite including simplified anatomical development of form and occlusal design. Participants will understand the development of individualised silicon matrix in order to guide correct buildup of the shape of anterior. 

Participants will be able to use the new Ceram.x SphereTec in combination with SDR bulk fill, the new Prime&Bond active universal adhesive system, the Triodent V3 matrix system and Enhance polishing system.  

An in depth workshop designed to highlight the availability of carrying a digital design from plan to guide to temporary restoration, utilising Simplant Immediate Smile featuring Atlantis Abutment. Participants will have the opportunity to treatment plan a case in Simplant Pro, use the intraoral scan information to design the custom abutment in Atlantis 3D editor, experience hands on with the Astra Tech EV keyless guided surgery system and deliver a custom temporary abutment and crown.

This lecture will cover all the new features of the CEREC 4.5 software and will review everything from 4.5 parameters to new tools and workflows that are needed to ensure that your get the most out of the most recent software update.

Patients presenting with hopeless or missing teeth in the esthetic zone present a unique challenge for the clinician. This challenge is related to the well documented and inevitable resorptive process that follows the extraction of these teeth, the resulting anatomic limitations, and the associated significant potential for soft tissue complications, especially in conjunction with higher risk procedures such as immediate implant placement and immediate loading protocols. This presentation will demonstrate in a systematic and step-by-step outline how to achieve predictable and long-term esthetic results in standard, complex, and compromised cases in the esthetic zone.

In this course we will expand on the general session lecture and concentrate on creating simply, realistic, and inexpensive smile designs with patients, converting them into digital waxups (including 3D printing), and using them to successfully restore the case.

This lecture will review common workflows that will ensure that from imaging to milling, you get the most trouble free CEREC workflows and proposals possible.  Utilizing proven techniques to control occlusion, proposals and the fit of the restoration, users will explore tips and tricks to help make any CEREC workflow as efficient as possible.

In this course we will discuss design strategies to improve proficiency and success with zirconia restorations and abutments, how to improve the esthetic result with the high strength zirconia, and also look at new options in the zirconia world to increase utilization.
